Lane Lythgoe
History:
Lane M. Lythgoe began his career in architecture at the young age of 12. His father who started Lythgoe Construction in 1973 employed Lane during the summer months and on weekends to “help out” on the job. At first Lane only picked up nails, cleaned the work area and watched his father work his trade. As the years went by Lane learned the art of construction and after fifteen years had learned in detail the trade of general contractor and master builder.
After graduation from High School and several years of volunteer service for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Lane went back to school for his undergraduate studies. Lane received his Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Brigham Young University in 1988. Upon graduation from BYU, Lane went to work for Salt Lake County Architecture as an intern architect and gained valuable experience in commercial facility management and architecture. During his tenure at Salt Lake County , Lane went to night school and obtained an MBA degree from the University of Phoenix . Upon leaving the County in 1992 Lane established Lythgoe Design Group, inc. and received his Architects License to practice in the State of Utah .
Lythgoe Design Group, inc, is set up as a sub-chapter “S” corporation located in Heber City , Utah . They provide a full range of services including architectural, planning, and design/build; specializing in small to moderate size commercial projects and luxury residential homes.
“Because our firm is small, our direction is simple. We offer one on one, architect to client contact, with quality design and attention to details. We embrace each project for what it is and work overtime to create results that connect with the client, the community and the environment. Our goal is not design awards or peer approval, simply client satisfaction!”
Lythgoe Design Group, inc. has been crafting custom plans for families, companies, and local builders since 1984, and has been ever growing their circle of influence in the Salt Lake, Summit, Utah and Wasatch county areas.
